I am a lifelong resident of Garrard County. I chose to make Garrard County my home at a younger age, where I have been a business owner in the construction sector, as well as farming.
This is my second term as District 2 Magistrate. I started in this position in January 2020. I have enjoyed serving Garrard County and I look forward to serving in the future.
My motto is “Not just for District 2, but all of Garrard County.”

As a lifelong resident, I take great pride in facilitating the growth and safety of Garrard County. I pledge myself to be available as a point of contact for the citizens of the Northern Garrard County district and as member of the fiscal court.

My name is Wayne Day and I am your new Magistrate for District 5 here in Garrard County.
I am honored to have been elected to this position and given the opportunity to work alongside the rest of the Fiscal Court for the betterment of our county. I want to be a voice for the people of District 5, the largest district by area in Garrard County. We have a long road ahead of us, but with a great group of elected officials and support staff, we can make Garrard County a place we are proud to call home. Over the past couple of months, I have witnessed this community come together and show just who they really are – a compassionate, giving and supporting one.
