WAYNE DAY
My name is Wayne Day and I am your new Magistrate for District 5 here in Garrard County.
I am honored to have been elected to this position and given the opportunity to work alongside the rest of the Fiscal Court for the betterment of our county. I want to be a voice for the people of District 5, the largest district by area in Garrard County. We have a long road ahead of us, but with a great group of elected officials and support staff, we can make Garrard County a place we are proud to call home. Over the past couple of months, I have witnessed this community come together and show just who they really are – a compassionate, giving and supporting one.
I am a lifelong resident of Garrard County, born and raised here. I am a 1988 graduate of Garrard County High School and have ran a successful family farming operation here for the past 36 years. I have been a member of the Garrard County Soil Conservation Board and serve as a deacon at Leavel Green Christian Church. In my very limited free time, I enjoy fishing.
My wife, Tami, and I have two daughters who we are very proud of, Madison Leigh (Zach), 23, who teaches first grade at Camp Dick Robinson and Morgan 20, who is in her second year of college at EKU pursuing a career in Speech Language Pathology.
I appreciate your support and please feel free to contact me with any concerns.
